He is survived by: his daughter Angela Leigh Nelson; his grandchildren, Dawn Magers, Desiree Magers, Jack Magers and Hailee Hill; his great grandchildren, Brycen Vaughan, Misty Vaughan, Killian Ford, Leelan Ford and Axion Sell; and his friend Vickie Newsom.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Lone Star Cemetery.
