She is survived by : her parents, Owen Jr. Lawrence and Mary Helen Lawrence; her brother Mathew; her sister-in-law Lisa Lawrence of Kingwood, TX; her sister Kimberly Lawrence of Rockwall, TX; her nephew Scott Melvin (Elizabeth) of Carmel, IN; and her nieces, Michelle Lawrence of Bedford, TX and Adelaide Melvin of Carmel, IN.. She is also survived by three grandnieces.
She was a Meadows Foundation Scholar at North Texas State University (NTSU) which was 3 years of intense education and classroom training beginning her junior undergraduate year.
