He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Peters (Willie) of Winnfield, Danny Johnson, Lynda Shelby (Pat) of Lubbock, Bruce Johnson of San Antonio, Cynthia McQueen (T. L.), Gail Johnson of Ralls, Johnny Ray Carpenter (Deionna) and Dianne Peters of Winnfield; his cousin Ora Lee Duboise; and his aunt Cloretha McGill. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren.
