He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Edwards and Joe Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Perrin; his children, Christa (Denis O'Leary), Cathy (Dan Collins) and Joe (Georgia Edwards III); his grandchildren, Sean, Anna, Julia, Sam, Ciara O'Leary, Zac (Becca Lyons), Ethan Cole, Perrin and Jasper Edwards; his grandchildren-in-law, Steve, Dana Edwards, Sam and Sandy Edwards; his grandchildren, Collin and Paula Edwards; Elvira "Grandma" Short. He is also survived by three brothers.
Donations in memory of Joe may be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Ranger Veterans Group.
