He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and Mary Annie Dempsey Adams; his wife Veallia "Bea" Roarke Adams; and his siblings, Clara Mae Cox, Lillian Cordelia Adams Boney and Welton Ott "W. O.".
He is survived by: his sons, Roy Don Adams (Judy), Carl Ray Adams (Marilyn Brister) and Alvin Joe Adams (Lecia); and his brother Clinton Adams. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
