She is survived by: her husband Jim Alsop of Rankin; her daughter Jonea Jackson of Rankin; her brothers, Jimbob Cox (Mirna) of Nixon and Clay Cox (Sheryl) of Abilene; and her granddaughter Taight Jackson of Rankin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Memorials can be made in her honor to any local animal shelter, The West Texas Boys Ranch, or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
