He is survived by: his son George Walton "Trey" Poage, III; his wife Nancy Poage of Rankin; his daughter-in-law Nicole Poage of Marble Falls; his grandchildren, Grayson of Marble Falls and Audri Poage of Marble Falls; and his cousins, Teed Boyd, Bobbie Boyd, Billie Farr, Alice Hickerson, Ellen Mosher and Dr. Thomas Elrod.
