She was predeceased by : her parents, Arvin Etheridge and Frances Etheridge; her husband B. C. Cottingham (Mutt); her sister Betty Walker; and her children, Carroll McCollum and Michael Cottingham.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sharon Lee Boggs (Lonnie) of Lovington and Patricia Fay Lamb (Johnny) of Carlsbad; her grandchildren, Leah Lawson, Christopher Boggs, Cameron Lamb and Jon Lamb; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Boggs, Jo'Claire Stanley, Bonnie Boggs, Justin Stanley and Patricia Boggs.
