He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Vasquez and Guadalupe Vasquez (Garcia). He is survived by : his sons, Jody Vasquez and Michael Vasquez; and his siblings, Juan Vasquez, Jr., Tomas Vasquez, Roberto Vasquez, Margarita Salinas, Rosalinda Vasquez, Evila Vasquez, Consuelo Vasquez and Carolina Vasquez.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Duddlesten Funeral Home (604 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
