She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Junek and Ida Junek (Koeing); her husband Eugene Jistel; and her sons, James Jistel and Eugene Jistel, Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Jistel Meister (Butch) of Red Oak, Connie Jistel Barnes (Melvin) of Houston, Norma Jistel Lauer of Red Oak, Arnold Jistel of Red Oak and Douglas Jistel of Lancaster, Texas; and her grandchildren, Aaron Rogers, Randall Rogers (Tiffany), Christopher Barnes, Ashley Lauer, Adam Jistel, Lynsee Jistel and Trent Jistel. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family members and dear friends.
