He was predeceased by : his parents, James Walden Redd and Theresa Edna Redd. He is survived by : his daughter Carolyn; his wife Lula; his daughter Mary Dickerson (David Kirsch); his grandchildren, Matt Wilkerson, Aubrey (Toby Hughes), Shawn Dickerson (Linda Toweill), Emily (Abe Aguilar), Kevin Dickerson, Sara Williams, Dee Williams, Jeffrey (Brandy Martin) and Justin (Misty Martin); his great grandchildren, Caleb Dickerson, Santiago Aguilar, Jedidiah Dickerson, Rogan Hughes, Wylie Williams, Nathaniel Dickerson, Kaeleb Eastman, Hunter, Braydon and Izzabela Mae Martin; his siblings, William Homer, James Ralph, George Clifford (Speedy), J. W. Jr., Harold Gene Holley Redd, Mellie Ola, Opal Christine and Harriett Elizabeth Pauline; his nephew John Lewis White; and his daughter Donna Kay Redd Schaeffer.
