He was predeceased by : his son Thanh; and his son-in-law Nguyen Anh Quan. He is survived by : his parents, Nguyen Danh Khuc and Nguyen Thi Xuyen; his siblings, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Nguyen Thi Hao, Nguyen Thi Hoan, Nguyen Thi Xuyen and Nguyen Danh Phuc Loc; his children, Dieu Tam (Trinh Vu), Anh Dao, Mong Tuyet (Hoa Tuan Le), Bich Tram (Dan Bich Tran), Danh Minh Hung (Khanh Nguyen), Steven Danh Minh Thai (Liza Esteban), Ngoctuyen (Joe Kim) and Khanh Trang (Dung Pham); and his grandchildren, MyLinh, Tien (Paulina), Duyen Anh, Quynh Nhu, Anh Thi, Anh Thu, Anh Truc, Tuan Vinh (Haeun Ro), Tuong Vy, Duy Hieu, Duy Minh, Thien Ngan, Adam Minh Long, Brianna Minh Phuong, Ellie, Evie, Sebastian, Aivy and Aidan. He is also survived by his mother and five siblings.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Directors (1600 S Garland Ave, Garland, TX 75040). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2121 Apollo Rd, Garland, TX 75044.
