She was predeceased by : her parents, Dennis B. Ford and Bertha B. Ford (Wheelock); her husband Walter H. McNew; and her siblings, Dennis B. Ford, Jr., Dorothy Cline, Geneva Langley and Barbara Jackson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Melissa Baker (Geoff Baker) and Melinda Betty (Glen Betty); her grandchildren, Carolyn Baker Finnie (Paul), Braydon Betty (Mackenzie), Austin Baker (Haylee) and Brittany Betty; and her great grandchildren, Walter Finnie, Benson Betty and Bronwyn Finnie.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sparkman Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1029 S Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75081).
