She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eddie Melton and Rose Melton; her brothers, Greg Melton (Susan) and Rodney Melton (Beth); her sons, Troy Carter (Winnie) and Cole Carter; her grandchildren, Torie, Jaxon and Edwin; and her close friend Kelli Floyd.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rowlett (3701 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
