She is survived by : her mother Rita Wasinger; her husband Monte Stringer; her son Matt; her daughter-in-law Brandy Kendall; her son Sam; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Stringer; her siblings, Bill Wasinger, John (Cindy Wasinger), Karen (Steven Beuchaw), Linda (Steve Scheets) and Dianna (Keith Nicholson); her grandchildren, Skyler, Reeves, Mercer and Spaid; and her aunt Taree.
Taree asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lone Star Dog Ranch in Anna, Texas, or to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
