He was predeceased by: his parents, H. O. Hartfiel and Magnolia Hartfiel; and his sisters, Frances Wayne Culbertson and Barbara Chachere. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, Amy Hastings (Bruce) and Scot Hartfiel (Staci); and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Hartfiel, Caroline Hastings, Ryan Hartfiel, Catherine Hastings (Kaden Grantham) and Harrison Hastings.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (400 Jackson St, Richmond, TX 77469).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Don's name to St. John's United Methodist Church's Stained Glass Restoration project.
