He was predeceased by: his parents, George Earl Martin and Viola Miller Martin; his sister Lila Bloomer of Danville, Illinois; his son-in-law Robert Posner; his granddaughter Ellen Elizabeth Ryan; and his great grandchild Ainsley Elizabeth Markham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Posner of Sharon, Alice Martin of Laguna Niguel, Jane Kohlheyer (Curt) of Jefferson, Anne Blanco of Morris and Sarah Ryan (Joseph) of Sugar Land, Texas; and his sister Colleen Morris of Roanoke.
