He was predeceased by: his parents, Rilda Elkins and Paul Elkins; and his brother Alan Elkins. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Elkins; his daughters, Vicki Elkins of Richmond and Janis Knuckols (Will) of Richmond; his grandchildren, James "Jay" Knuckols (Hannah) of Austin and Olivia Knuckols of Houston, Texas.; and his siblings, Wayne Elkins (Jeanne) of Temple and Nica Cason of Wiggins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapels (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471).
