It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lanny Poteet of Richmond, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ross Poteet, Sr. and Jennie Wofford Poteet; and his wife Judy Ann Poteet. He is survived by : his children, Douglas Poteet (Shari), David Poteet (Maritza) and Deena Poteet (Vincent); his brother Ross Poteet, Jr.; his grandchildren, Nathan Poteet, Caleb Poteet, Travis Lanny Poteet, Carley Poteet and Lauren Poteet; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Lanny Poteet, Quinn Poteet and Astrid Poteet. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew, along with extended family and friends.
