She was predeceased by : her parents, Ignacio Garcia and Maria Ines Perea of Garcia; her sister Teresa; and her adoptive son Mark Anthony Martinez. She is survived by : her husband Theodore F. Johnson; her daughter Guadalupe Teresa Regalado (Johnson); her son-in-law John Regalado; her daughter Maria Christina Johnson; her granddaughters, Jo Anna Nicole Salas (Sanchez), Samantha Kristen Villegas and Cinnamon Estrella Sanchez; her great grandchildren, Logan Eric Ceballos, Natalee Faith Navarro, Mason Grey McMillan, Aubree Rae Navarro and Liam Ezra Zamora; and her adoptive mother Jeanne Magnia (Evelyn Reimers).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home (722 Grillo Way, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
