He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Guerra and Emma Muñoz Guerra. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Alaniz (Donald), Linda Beltran (Noel) and Laura Rocha (Juan); his grandchildren, Nereida Rogers (Denzel), Janay Rocha, Carlos Beltran, Crystal Alaniz and Juan "LJ" Rocha Jr.; his great grandchildren, Denzel "DJ" Rogers Jr. and Noah Rogers; and his sister Edna G. Cruz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sanchez Funeral Home (301 E 2nd St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (101 E Canales Bros St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rio Grande City Cemetery (108 N West St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582).
