With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francisco G Alvarado (Rio Grande City, Texas), who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilario Alvarado and Benita Alvarado Sr.; and his brothers, Hilario Alvarado Jr. and Benito Alvarado. He is survived by: his wife Elda Alvarado; his children, Mario Alvarado (Michelle), Monica Lopez (Isaac) and Myra Carrales (Jaime); his grandchildren, Nicole Lowe (Jonathan), Meagan, Kelsie, Mia, Julianne and Joshua; and his sister Maria Margarita Soto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hernandez Funerals (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hilario Alvarado Cemetery.
