With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose Alberto Tijerina (Rio Grande City, Texas), who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jose Ignacio and Maria Sylvia A. Tijerina; his children, Alfonso Tijerina and Erika Lee Tijerina; and his sister Veronica Tijerina "Eulalio Leo" Martinez. He was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hernandez Funerals (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
