It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Smothers (River Oaks, Texas), born in Odessa, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2018, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Smothers and Mary Fletcher Smothers. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Smothers; his children, Aaron Holland (April), Andrew Jones (Gabby), Andy Thompson, Ashley Lindsey (Kristen), Amanda Hyatt (Tristen) and Ava Tate; and his siblings, Melissa Barton (Jim) and Eddie Smothers (Opal). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
