Evelyn Hoelscher Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Hoelscher of Robinson, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Holtman and Josephine Witcher Holtman; her husband Otto Hoelscher (Sonny); her daughter Jane Todd; and her daughter-in-law Donna Hoelscher.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Hoelscher of Hewitt, Peggy Mattlage (Fred) of Valley Mills, Patsy Koenig (Michael) of Moody and Rosemary Clark (Robert) of China Spring; and her siblings, Monsignor Elmer Holtman of Burnet and Betty Ann Kleypas of Temple. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home (111 2nd St, Rosebud, TX 76570). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Visitation (144 County Rd 3000, Lott, TX 76656). A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
