George Rodgers Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022 we had to say goodbye to George Rodgers of Rochelle, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mart Rodgers and Mable Rodgers (Nix); his wife Barbara Dagen; his sister Rebecca Sorrells; and his grandson John Samuel Dagen.

He is survived by : his former life partner Catherine Vander Ven; his children, Deleta Brindley (Gary) of Brownwood, Dianne Mays (Glennon) of College Station, Linda Morris (Carl) of Rochelle and Jimmy Rodgers of Dublin; his stepsons, Larry Dagen (Pauline) of Cedar Hill and John Dagen of Brady; and his sister Mary Ann Swenning of Midlothian. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to McCulloch County 4-H, c/o Texas Agriculture Extension Office in Brady.
