In the vast expanse of eternity, Effie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Effie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thadius "Dick" Gay and Martha Reynolds Gay; her brother Rex Bennie Gay; her husband Dale Owens Sr.; and her children, Andrew Owens and Susan Beaudroux.
She is survived by: her siblings, Billey Gene Strong of Caldwell and Pat Gay Jr. of Georgetown; and her children, Linda Brown (Melvin) of International Falls, Minnesota, Gloria Daniel (Gerald) of Tyler, Texas, Shirley Owens of Rockdale, Texas and Dale Owens Jr. (Theodosia) of Rockdale, Texas.. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
