She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Edward Black (Lou) and Lou Ann Black (Grimes); and her brothers, Edward "Wayne" Black and James Roy Black. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Black of Rockdale; her children, Kurt McLerran (Melissa) of Fairfield and Kristi Galbraith (Brad) of Hico; and her grandchildren, Patton Casey Galbraith and William Edward.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (1041 US-79, Rockdale, TX 76567-4513). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
