With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Herbeck of Rockport, Texas, who passed away on July 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orabelle Courtney and Frank Herbeck; his brothers, Frankie Herbeck, Billy Herbeck, Jimmy Herbeck and Paul Herbeck (Roma Herbeck); his son Kelly Herbeck; and his stepsons, Todd Morris and Jim Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Morris-Herbeck; his sister Martha Trammell; his sons, Kirk (Marcy), Kris (Scott Faber) and Douglas Lyn Morris (Tina); and his grandchildren, Erica Bailey (Matt) and Matthew Herbeck (Kristy). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
He was very active in the community through St. Mary's Catholic Church, Optimist Club, Rotary Club, Texas City Chamber of Commerce, Galveston Bay Foundation and other organizations.
