He was predeceased by: his wife Angelina Cantu. He is survived by: his children, Joe Cantu Jr., Rick, Michelle Cantu, David Cantu, Linda, Ponce Guerrero and John Cantu. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory - Rockport (814 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Rockport Cemetery (2040 Tule Park Dr, Rockport, TX 78382).
