With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Marion Powell of Rockwall, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Powell and Dolly Powell (Whitlock); his wife Patricia Powell; his siblings, Yvonia, Violet, Larry, Lennox of Rex, A. B., Millard and Walt; his son-in-law James Adams; and his siblings' children, Walt Jr., David Allen, Mark, Phillip and Brenda.
He is survived by: his children, Debra "Debbie" Adams of Rockwall, Texas and Allen Jr. Powell (Moira); his grandchildren, Johnny Adams, Amy King (Adams), Shane Powell and Stephanie Dawson (Powell); his great grandchildren, Jax, Keelan, Keegan, Brittney, Breton, Landon, Ashley and Austin; his sister Regina Hudgins (David); and his sibling's children, Richard, Rick, Artie, Roger, Cheryl, Melynda, Teresa, LaDonna Y., Tammie, Marsha, Janny, Debbie, Pam, Barbara and LaDonna S..
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Alma Cemetery (1000-1098 Seals St, Alma, AR 72921).
