We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2021, at the age of 83, Dorothy Jean Hewlett of Ropesville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Hillhouse, Sr. and Bessie Williamson-Salmon; and her brother John Hillhouse. She is survived by : her husband George Shepard (Glenn); her former life partner Glenn P. Hewlett; her son Bobby Joe; her brothers, James "Zeke" Hillhouse, Jr. and Edgar Lee Hillhouse; her children, Greg Shepard, Glen Shepard, Ronald Shepard, Gary Shepard, Reba Shepard, Audrey Garrett and George Shepard; and her sister Lillie Young. She is also survived by several grandchildren & great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
