She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Cruz Sr.; her parents, Octavio Deases and Josefa Deases; her daughters, Antonia Perez and Melissa Morapina; her grandson Philip Ortega; and her siblings, Carlotta Rios and Guadalupe Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her children, Juan Cruz Jr. (Annette), Ana M. Cruz and Amy Cruz; and her sister Elida Zavala. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the E. P. Compean Funeral Directors (1223 6th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the San Gabriel Annex Cemetery (9201 Hwy 90 Alt, Beasley, TX 77417).
