She was predeceased by : her father Antonio Mendez. She is survived by : her husband Sergio Caballero; her children, Carlos Mendez (Febe Ramirez), Esteban Mendez, Fatima Mendez (Jesse Ixcoy) and Stephannie Mendez; her siblings, Hector Mendez, Jose Ignacio and Cristina Rodriguez; and her grandchildren, Jade Portillo and Samuel Ixcoy. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
