She was predeceased by: her husband Benito P. Cantu; her grandson JoeAaron Benito Cantu; and her parents, Guadalupe Avila Garcia and Eugenio Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Lupia Cantu (David Lopez), Joe Cantu (Cathy), Teri Gonzalez (Roberto), Martin Cantu (Tanya), Benny Cantu Jr. (Debbie), Anthony Cantu (Caron), Johnnie Cantu (Melissa) and Nick Cantu; and her sister Cecilia Gonzales (Henry). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home (722 Grillo Way, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (514 Carlisle St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471).
