She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lige Horton and Odell Conn Horton; her children, Joe Allen Cansler, Jr. (Amanda) of Bellview, Texas and Krystal Gilley of Many, Louisiana; her brother Alva Ray "Tinker" Horton (Jean) of Milam; and her grandchildren, Jarett Cansler, Brianna Cansler, Blake Cansler, Eli Booker, Levi Booker, Breeze Booker and Kaylee Pearson. She was also cherished by two great grandchildren.
