She is survived by: her husband Darryl Gipson; her son Derrick Green; her mother Mary Jane Green; her grandchildren, Davion, Adin, Jeremiah, Zoe, Mason and Stormi; her siblings, Trameka Matthews, Rita Coleman, Brenda Matthews, Joseph Wayne Pickens and Joseph Sam Sr.; her godchildren, Tamia Matthews (Nana), Eric Tinsley and Gregory Rashad (Wednesday); her godparents, Christa Sam (Nannan) and Joseph Sam (Katt Daddy); her nephews, Vincent Thorn, Keith Gipson and Greg Gipson; and her cousins, Tisha Tinsley, Teleshia Smith, Trina Graham and Yolanda Crowder.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Troy B. Smith Professional Services Chapel (9013 Scott St, Houston, TX 77051). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Houston Memorial Gardens (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
