She is survived by: her husband Rosser McDonald; and her children, Ronda Cooper, Rhoda Addison, Renda Welch and Curtis McDonald. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

After bravely dealing with Parkinson's Disease several years, Glenda succumbed to a fast growing cancer.
