James Thomas Clayton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomas Clayton (Rosser, Texas), who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop M. Clayton and Molly Jewell Clayton (Fletcher); his former wife Preceding; his siblings, Virginia Dobecka and Henry; and his siblings-in-law, Geneva Clayton, Herschal Clemmons, Kenneth York and Helen Green.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Bell Clayton (Clemmons); his daughter Lori Kreder (Clayton); and his siblings-in-law, Effie York, Gladys Reavis, Floyd Clemmons and Eddie Reavis. He is also survived by several cousins, many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to First Baptist Church of Rosser or the Lewy-Body Dementia Foundation.
