He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Bynum. He is survived by: his sister Sherry Hale; and his nephew Greg (D'Linda Benham).
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (1238 Co Rd 241, Rotan, TX 79520).
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
