She is survived by: her husband Marvin Peterson; her children, Sonja Peterson of Spicewood, TX and Justin Peterson (Mina) of Temple, TX; her grandchildren, Kyle Peterson (Grace Cox) and Kayla Peterson (Shawn Butler); her great grandchild Paisley Mae Peterson of Temple, TX; and her siblings, Larry Akin (Penny), Scott Akin (Joyce) and Janis Hawken.
