She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bright and Marie Bright (Dobbs); and her spouse Johnnie Sampson. She is survived by: her children, John Carlton "Buddy" Sampson, Jeffrey Wayne Sampson, Lori Sampson Belitere (John) and Kristi Gibbs; her grandchildren, Jessica, Cosette, Christopher Lansford, Amanda Tomko (John), Anthony, Damien Sampson, Arianna Gibbs and Theodore Kuntz; and her great grandchildren, Makena Rose and Roslyn Masie Tomko.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rowlett (3701 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
