She was predeceased by : her parents, Nellie Mitchell and Horace Chilton Canup; her husband Earl Bennet Shaw; her grandson Aaron F. Fry; and her siblings, Chilton Canup, Sam L. Canup, Wanda Peoples and Randall "Chic" Canup.

She is survived by : her daughter Debbie Fry; her grandchildren, Brittany Barnes (Todd) of Grandview, Lindsey Sullivan (Ryan) of Baton Rouge, Leslie Arnott (Jason) of Mansfield, Joshua Eastham of Dallas, Lainey Eastham of Baton Rouge, Nicholas Arnott of Mansfield, Emma Arnott of Mansfield and Jacob Arnott of Mansfield, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Cohen Barnes, Jude Barnes, Zoey Barnes, Bennett Arnott, Charlie Sullivan, Eleanor Barnes, Sidney Sullivan, Drew Arnott and Riley Sullivan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
