He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Talley and Bessie Talley; his in-laws, Shorty and Sarah Monk; and his grandson Chris Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Talley; and his children, Darlene Herndon (Jimmy), Terri Hickerson (Reggie) and Mike Talley (Dena). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
