He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Ethridge and Daisy Ethridge; his stepfather Jack Morgan; his grandparents, William and Susie Carson; and his siblings, Charles Ethridge and Vera Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Ethridge of Heath, Texas; his daughters, Lisa (Bobby Hampton) and Teresa (Brian Watkins); his grandchildren, A. J. Hampton, Zachary Hampton, Jack Watkins and Drew Watkins; and his siblings, Sue Fletcher of Detroit, Curt and Sharon Ethridge of Texarkana, Arkansas.. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Heath (224 Smirl Dr, Heath, TX 75032). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Union Gospel Mission or KCBI radio, in Jim's memory.
