He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Bement and Bessie Bement (Thomason); and his son Brett Bement. He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Sanders Bement of Bridgeport; his children, Rhonda McMurry of Runaway Bay and Steven Bement of Austin; his grandchildren, Suzanne Largent, J. T. Stockton and Brittany Kaker; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, Brody, Blaze, Joe Tyler and Allie; and his brother Joe Tom Bement of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
