We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2023, at the age of 74, Sharon Ann Pope of Rusk, Texas, born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Geraldine Ruth Kelso Ashmead and Bernald Bob Ashmead. She is survived by : her brother Bernald Fred Ashmead (Freddy); her children, Wendy Pope, Mark Pope, Jr., Joseph Pope (Tony) and Angela Rhodes; and her grandchildren, Andrea, Joseph, Lark, Brinn, Scout, Trinity and Destiny.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made Sharon's honor to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org.
