It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adela Chavez (Sabinal, Texas), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregorio Albarado and Ofelia Davis; her spouse Pedro T. Chavez; her sisters, Maria Rodriguez, Manuela Zamarron, Julia Contreras, Francisca Salinas, Genoveva Pulido, Zenona Alvarado, Canuto Alvarado, Gregoria Alvarado, Jr and Zijifredo Alvarado; and her great grandchild Mateo Mendiola.
She is survived by: her children, Louanna Chavez of D'Hanis, Rosana Chavez of Sabinal, Ofelia Chavez of San Antonio and Pedro Chavez, Jr. of San Antonio; and her grandchildren, Saida Torres, Isaiah Torres, Daniel Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Hannah Rodriguez, Alexandra Rodriguez and Jordan Bridges.
