Tyler Fletcher Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2026, at the age of 66, Tyler Fletcher (Salado, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Tyler is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tyler's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Tyler Herrick Fletcher and Shirley Wilkerson (Gardner); his brother Leslie R. Fletcher; and his grandparents, Herbert H. Fletcher and Thelma Rawls Fletcher.
He is survived by: his brothers, Desmond W. Fletcher (Stacy) of Williamsburg, VA, Hugh H. Fletcher (Jane) of Tucson, AZ and Dr. Gardner L. Fletcher (Carol) of Hattiesburg, MS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Episcopal Church (945 N Main St, Salado, TX 76571). A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at the Salado Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Joseph's Church, for the Tyler R. Fletcher Scholarship to support the EYC.
