He was predeceased by: his father L. D. Cano; his nephew Alex Cano; and his great-nephew Patryck Garza. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Cano; and his siblings, Lucy Gutierrez (Modesto) of Mansfield, Rose Salcido (Eddie), David Cano of San Angelo and Cindy Curtis of Flower Mound. He is also survived by daughter, six nephews and nieces, and nine great nephews and nieces: and a larger extended family.
